River Red Gum
Eucalyptus Camaldulensis
The timber of the iconic river red gum has a reputation for durability, strength and for its distinctive brilliant red colouring ranging from pink to almost black. Applications include furniture, framing, flooring, panelling and joinery.

Sydney Blue Gum
Eucalyptus Saligna
Blue gum timber is easy to dry relative to most other eucalypts. Colour ranges from pink to reddish brown. It responds well to most finishes and takes a good polish, making it popular for decorative applications where moderate durability is required. Common Uses: Flooring, millwork, furniture, and boatbuilding.

Karri Gum
Eucalyptus Diversicolor
High quality furniture can be produced with karri timber and the distinctive colour and figure of the timber, along with its durability makes it sought after for this purpose. Colour is golden to reddish brown, sometimes with a orange or purple cast. Colour tends to darken with age.

Sugar Gum
Eucalyptus Cladocalyx
Sugar gum is exceptionally dense and hard and is perfect for outdoor timber. It is prized for its durability and attractive blond to tan, yellow to brown, honey colour decorative finish and has been used as a replacement for Balau for those who appreciate the silver/aged/weathered look.
